## Get backlinks via Api
This API places a backlink for a page you send us.
First, [create an API key](https://forumbacklinks.org/login). Then create a task. You can create a task in two ways.
1. The first way is to ID a specific donor. Get ID from List donors. The list includes the domain rating of each donor, so you know the rating of that donor.
2. The second way is to create the task without a donor ID. Then our team decides where to place the link. Send us a domain rating range. We will find a forum and place a link.
Create the task with Create task. The response includes the task id.
Then:
1. You can call Task status with task id and check the status yourself,
2. or set up a webhook so we send the task status to you.
To create a task we need:
1. keyword
2. Target URL for backlink
3. the domain rating range.

Very bad experience with Forum Backlinks, not recommended.
### Frequently asked questions
#### Can I choose forums for publication?
Yes. You can choose forums for publication. This is included with every Credit pack. You can also turn on automatic placement: we look for the most relevant forums for your niche and publish as soon as we find them.
#### Why can’t I see the full forum list for free?
These are our proprietary forums. We collect them, grow accounts on them, and we do not give that list away to everyone on the internet.
#### Do you do manual placements?
Yes. All of our placements are manual.
#### Are there any risks of Google sanctions?
No. There are no such risks, because we place everything fully manually. We either find an existing conversation on your topic, or we create a conversation and add the link there.
#### Are these links indexed?
Yes. These links are fully indexed. You can check in Google by searching for the URL — if it appears in Google, it is indexed.
#### How does your service work?
You sign up, tell us about your project, and fill in the brief. You buy a Credit pack — 1 Credit equals 1 DR. We give you the full list of forums where we can place your link. You choose the forums, and we place the links. Then our own checking system watches for 30 days whether the link was removed, and you get a full report on how everything is set up.
